Baltimpex LLC offers a range of blankets on the Kaliningrad market. We sell both wholesale—to hotels, guesthouses, glamping sites, and hostels—and at retail for home use.
The primary factor determining a blanket's properties, price, and care requirements is its filling.
Natural fillings
Down
The lightest and warmest option; they retain heat exceptionally well. They are expensive, require delicate care and frequent airing, and can trigger allergies. The premium segment features baffle-box construction (with down held in separate compartments).
Wool (sheep, camel)
They retain dry heat well, are breathable, and may offer mild therapeutic benefits. They are heavier than down-filled items, require special care, and may cause allergic reactions in some people.
Silk
Hypoallergenic, with excellent temperature regulation (cool in summer, warm in winter). An expensive premium product.

Bamboo/Eucalyptus (Tencel)
Eco-friendly, breathable, and antibacterial. A popular choice for allergy sufferers.

Cotton-filled
A traditional, inexpensive, and very warm option. They are heavy, tend to mat quickly, and do not withstand washing well.

Synthetic and man-made fillings

Hollofiber, synthetic batting, polyester
Lightweight, hypoallergenic, easy to care for (machine-washable), and affordable. An excellent budget-friendly option.Microfiber / Microgel
Soft and durable; a synthetic alternative to down. Very lightweight and warm.

Synthetic swan down
A soft, lightweight microfiber with properties resembling natural down.
By seasonality (warmth level)
Winter: Dense, with a high volume of filling. Best choices: down, wool, or hollowfiber.
Summer / Lightweight: Thin and light, with minimal filling. Good options include silk, bamboo, and cotton.
All-season: Medium density for year-round use.
4-season (dual): Two duvets of different thicknesses fastened together with snaps. They can be used separately or combined.
By size
Children's: ~90x120 cm, ~105x140 cm.
Single: ~150x215 cm.
Small double: ~140x205 cm.
Double: ~170x205 cm.
Euro: ~200x220 cm.
King Size (Euro-maxi): ~220x240 cm.

Additional selection criteria
Cover material. Natural fabrics (cotton, calico, sateen, bamboo) ensure superior breathability.
Quilting type. Baffle-box construction (down held in individual compartments) is a hallmark of premium quality.
